What are Goals?
Well… we all know goals. It’s a specific thing, end state, or a place that we want to end up with/at. Usually, goals are combined with deadlines, so a goal could be to read a book by tomorrow.
How I use it ?
Once you have a goal, you know exactly what you’re working towards and that makes it easier to plan and take action. Although I make sure to set input goals rather than output goals so it’s always within my control. By having a clear goal , it’s easy to break down that goal into achievable bite size parts , which ultimately leads to finishing them.

What’s colour coding ?
Colour coding is a simple technique of assigning colours to different types of tasks based on some pre-defined system.
How I use it ?
I colour code the categories of tasks, which I want to accomplish in a week or a month. Also , I colour code them based on the priority order in which I want to complete my tasks.
Yes , it’s really tempting to colour every task everyday , but it quickly becomes a chore , at the very least it did to me.
So, I took a step back and colour coding the grand scheme of things.

What’s Time Blocking ?
Time blocking or Timeboxing is simply setting a fixed amount of time for a given task. This way you can end up with blocks of time in your calendar which leaves no room for wondering what to do or for how long you should work on any given task.
How I use it ?
As tempting it is to block time for nearly each and every task, I personally use this for most important tasks , cause having to block time for each and every task quickly becomes a chore , but just blocking the mists important tasks, you can do it , no sweat.
